Advocacy Crafts Beauty- Nan Desu Kan Highlight

Advocacy Crafts Gratitude

One of the great joys of my work is going into into communities some might not expect to discuss things like " How Anime and Videos Can Build Real Life Skills." This last weekend I was able to attend Nan Desu Kan, a Denver Convention focused on anime.

Not only was I able to discuss aspect of this topic like how common conversations can lead to positive self advocacy,  how intentional leadership can blossom from community interests, and how creative passions can be utilized to craft empathy. It was a blast to do so.

However,  some of my goals during events are to see how the sun shines on the day of my event, how the landscape looks, and to see if I can capture the beauty of my surroundings. I find it helps to breathe in the moment, to settle into the mindset that can help my talks to really resonate,  and how I can feel the gratitude of the day.

I like to be these are skills designed to empower myself and the day in ways that last. These moments deserve to be valued and felt.
