DDRC Employment First Panel!

Developmental Disability Resource Center Panel

Today I had the profound honor of being on a Panel for the DDRC( Developmental Disability Resource Center.) My topic was to discuss the Employment First Movement and the societal results of helping to employ those with extra needs. For those not in the know the Employment First Movement is centered around helping individuals get equitable and prosperous work no matter their needs or diagnosis.There is much more to this movement and that is a very brief summary of it. But it is a pillar of he work.

It is an important part of life many people do not receive. I am so proud to be able to speak on behalf of my community and do the work needed. It was also great to connect with the DDRC and help continue community education.
